Although he recently shared a track that responded to the Michael Brown shooting, J. Cole hasn't given us any details about his follow-up to last year's Born Sinner. The first bit of information we've gotten about that upcoming album comes from Steve Lobel, manager of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, who just revealed that Krayzie and Bizzy Bone will be on Cole's next project.
He tells HipHopDX, “We just went to the studio with J. Cole. Krayzie’s gonna be on J. Cole’s new album. J. Cole didn’t even know Bone’s story, how they took a Greyhound to meet Eazy[-E, who signed them to his Ruthless Records imprint]. Then J. Cole was telling his story and Kray is like, ‘I’m gonna tell you my story.’ But we’re gonna let Cole tell it first. The record’s fucking crazy. Crazy. Bizzy [Bone] got on it, too.”
Are you down for a J. Cole/Bone Thugs collabo?
