Kodie Shane gets colorful in her "Drip On My Walk" video.

Atlanta's star, Lil Yachty, has made himself known in the music industry for his left-field approach to making hip hop and music in general. While he's still really young in the game, his Sailing Team is giving birth to other artists under his wing with a similar approach.

Kodie Shane is the 18-year-old star on his team right now. With a 90's child aesthetic and a pre-pubescent vocal tone modified by auto-tune when she raps, she's making waves with her beat selection, hook game and penchant for honing her youthfulness in her music. Her latest video for "Drip On My Walk" is a prime example of this.

The song "Drip On My Walk" serves as the opening track of her 2016 EP Zero Gravity, she re-vamps the bouncy track for a fun-filled video that encapsulates the song visually. While the song has already had a video released for it in May of last year, Kodie Shane brings it back more than a year later and one ups the original.

The video has her laid back, kickin' it with the Sailing Team. As Yachty has an appearance in this video, she also grabs dancers Ayo & Teo for a special cameo in the colorful video. The video's special effects have a major part in why this video is a great look for Kodie Shane. While Yachty has been vocal on the importance of branding as an artist, it seems like Shane is taking lead from her Sailing Team coach with a video that will bring the song to another height.

The video was done by production team, Motion Family, who she has worked with in the past and directed by Matthew Swinsky who has also worked with 21 Savage, Ludacris and 24Hrs.

Kodie Shane has a bright future ahead of her. At only 18-years-old, she's released four official projects including her 2017 effort Big Trouble Little Jupiter.

After releasing the new video for "Drip On My Walk," there's no doubt that her name will be buzzing around a lot more in the near future.
