Earlier this morning, during an appearance on Sway In The Morning on Shade 45, emerging Baltimore, Maryland emcee King Los announced his departure from Diddy's Bad Boy Records. He also murdered another "5 Fingers Of Death" freestyle, which you can watch below.
Details are scarce at the moment, but we'll provide updates as they come.
Los is currently making the rounds in New York City in promotion of a new mixtape titled Zero Gravity II, the follow up to his April 2010 project of the same name. It's scheduled for release on March 24th, which is his birthday, and will include production from Hitmaka (aka Yung Berg), Devin Cruise, J. Oliver and Los himself. He's hosting a listening party for it in NYC this evening.
We recently premiered the first single from the tape, "Play Too Rough", which you can listen to here. Los plans to hit the road with Kid Ink for the "My Own Lane" tour following the release of Zero Gravity II. Stay tuned, folks.

[Update: Los Elaborates]
Los elaborated on the situation in an interview with MTV following his "5 Fingers Of Death" freestyle.
"Forever in the Bad Boy family, I've just chosen to explore other endeavors just like my mentor, just like Puff," he says. "He had his situation before, him and Andre Herrell. Look at how it worked out for him. I'm just inspired by those who have radical thinking. Sometimes, you gotta do bizarre things. If it doesn't start as a thought, how could it ever come to fruition?"
