Kid Cudi Puts Haters On Blast, Names Drake & Kanye West

Kid Cudi was feeling himself this afternoon, when he went off on a little twitter rant, thanking his supporters and blasting any detractors. The rapper has been cited by many artists among the 'new wave' as inspiration and influence, rightly so, given that a lot of these artists were getting into hip-hop (they are young) around the time Cudder was popping off, which is also around the time the blogsophere was starting to pop off.

While we owe much to Cudi on that front, the rapper's recent output (a decidedly different sound) has seen a swell of haters peer their heads-- apparently these haters are coming from within the music industry, too. "I need yall to know I got so many haters within the industry and these clowns know Im bout to crush their entire existance," Cudi began on twitter.

He didn't name names at first, but followed that up with, "Everyone thinks they're soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them," which could definitely be taken as a slight towards Drake and dudes like Kanye that opt for the more-the-merrier on a record. However not everyone has Cudi's wrath, as he shouts out, "All my youngins out here reppin, Asap Rocky and the whole ASAP family, Travis Scott, SuperDuper Kyle, Audio Push, Hit Boy, etc, I see yall." 

Obviously these initial tweets started stirring up reactions, which Cudder later followed up with some clarity: "My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever. These niggas dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me."

He went on to say, "Niggas keep you close when they see how powerful you are by yourself. When they see your greatness. Out of fear. Ive been loyal to those who haven't been to me and that ends now. Now im your threat."
