Kendrick Lamar's sophomore album set the record for most album streams in a span of 24 hours.

Well that didn’t take long. According to reports (& Top Dawg), Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album, To Pimp A Butterfly, has already set the record for most album streams in a day.

In total, the album was streamed 9.6 million times on Spotify on Monday, which broke the previously record set by Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late project last month.

To Pimp A Butterfly is currently available on all digital retailers, and will be hitting stores at some point this week, Top says. For now though, the album can be copped right here on iTunes.

This will probably end up being the first of many more records that K. Dot breaks with this new album. We’ll keep you posted on all of them.

Congrats to Kendrick and the rest of the TDE camp!
