Taking a page out of his Yeezus textbook, Kanye West decided to roll out his new video for "Famous" Monday night across various buildings in NYC. Like "New Slaves," the Life Of Pablo video was projected onto buildings throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn & Williamsburg for fans to watch live on the streets. This comes a day after Kanye did the same thing back in his current hometown of Los Angeles Sunday night.
A few hours ago, Kanye had tweeted out the six locations that would be showing the video, but he didn’t leave a specific time frame. However after hours of anticipating, it appears the videos were just displayed across the buildings (see clips below).
The Rihanna-featured video, which is now streaming on Tidal, was first premiered this past Friday night at the Forum in Los Angeles, where it brought along quite the controversy following its unveiling. The video features several celebrities naked in bed with Kanye, and not just any celebrities… Amber Rose, Ray J, Chris Brown, Caitlyn Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Donald Drumpf, & even Taylor Swift, who apparently is very angry & "horrified" by it. Kanye has since "dared" anyone to sue him, but no one has taken the bait yet. Ray J's manager on the other hand hasn't been quiet though, read his vicious remarks about the video right here.
If you haven't seen it yet, check out the video right here, and peep the clips from Monday night's screenings below.
