K Camp's back already? After last month's Lyric Ave EP, he has returned in grand fashion with a 10-track mixtape, entitled RARE. Lyric Ave was a well-rounded showcase of all that Camp can do as an artist, with an especially relaxed feel inspired by his new home in LA. From the looks of it, RARE is taking it back to the Atlanta streets. Some of the best trappers are featured -- Trouble, Dae Dae, and Young Dolph, the latter whom guested on the tape's lead-off track, "Real Me," released earlier this month. All of the other tracks are brand new. Slim Jxmmi, the only feature on Lyric Ave, shows up once more on "Drag," and the one remaining feature comes from back out West, as Ty Dolla $ign -- with whom Camp shares a stylistic kinship -- guests on "Extra."
RARE was created with a tight production cast, made up of Bobby Kritical, Nard & B, XL, and MusicMajorX. That whole group of ATL talents collaborates on a handful of tracks. Revisit Lyric Ave here, and tell us your favorite RARE tracks in the comments.
RARE is hosted by DJ Genius.
