As Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug have separated, for the time being, we're reminded that Rich Gang still has a seasoned NOLA veteran in the mix--namely, Juve the Great. Though, Juvenile's had enough label politics to deal with in his career; he's just intent on continuing to put out street heat. And he does just that on his latest cut, "Spend It", produced by the almighty Zaytoven.
Though we hear his stamp at the beginning of the track, this is less trap than your typical Zaytoven. Instead, he channels New Orleans and comes out with some vintage Mannie Fresh. "Spend It" also features Skip, who was part of the group UTP Juve formed after his first fallout with Cash Money (back in '02), and Neno Calvin, a New Orleans young gun. If you were missing some New Orleans creole in your diet, this is for you.
"Spend It" will appear on Juvenile's upcoming mixtape Mardi Gras 2. Juvie gave us the scoop on the mixtape in an interview last month. Watch below.
