Just Blaze is in a giving mood tonight. We just heard "Moleskin Conclusion," a beat that was intended to be the sequel to Jay Electronica and Blaze's "Dear Moleskin." Now he's dropped a second beat, "Miracle," which, at one time, was intended for Jay Z and Jeezy.
Blaze says other artists have also had their eyes on this beat: "Ross did something with it. Chris Brown wanted it badly but couldn't find the right vocal flow for it once we got in studio. Canei wanted to pass it to Cole, but it was held up by someone else who actually cut me a check for it." In the end, none of the above artists managed to work with the beat, which Blaze understands--"There's a LOT going on."
The beat is driven by a piano riff that never repeats itself throughout the entire song. Can you imagine any of the aforementioned cats going in over "Miracle"?
