The ever-mysterious Jr. Hi has taken to his Soundcloud today to release a new EP, Virtual Lover. We first came across the singer when he somehow nabbed The Weeknd for a feature on "Secrets," which he later followed up with the Childish Gambino-featured "Trillion Girls." The songs intrigued us, but there was little else to be said about Jr. Hi and he hasn't released any music since. Until today. He's dropped a 5-song EP which includes both "Secrets" and "Trillion Girls," as well as this cut we're highlighting "C-A-R-A-M-E-L." His voice remains muffled and distorted, which definitely helps to keep his persona tightly under wraps (it also makes the lyrics hard to decipher). The production is layered with guitar riffs, drums, vocal samples and goes through several transformations.
