Jordan Brand has just unveiled some of their Spring 2017 Collection (although all of these sneakers will be releasing in the Winter) which can be broken down into four different categories.
1) The Take Flight Collection:
The flight theme is strong throughout the Air Jordan lineage but the upcoming 2017 line, featuring the Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 8 and Air Jordan 15 takes cues from military bomber jackets and fighter planes.
The Air Jordan 5 draws on inspiration from the P51 flight bomber jacket, sporting a new look full leather construction decked out in sequoia green. This sneaker will release on February 11th.
The Air Jordan 8 features the same green hue, as well as an elevated construction for the first time which integrates neoprene materials in the upper. Release Date: January 28th.
The Stealth Air Jordan 15 will arrive on January 7th.
2) The Alternate Collection:
The upcoming Air Jordan 6s and Air Jordan 8s look like some familiar colorways, though they've been slightly tweaked, including some perforations on the upper, hence the "Alternate" moniker.
The "Alternate" 6s will be releasing on March 11th. The "Alternate" 8s drop on February 25th.
3) The Air Jordan 12 Low Collection:
2017 will also feature the return of the "Playoffs" Air Jordan 12 Low (releasing February 25th) as well as the debut of a black-sueded "Max Orange" joint (releasing January 14th).
4) The "Legacy" Air Jordan 4:
Black nubuck upper, premium materials and gold accents. Look for these to release on February 5th.
