Joey Purp has impressed with everything he's done this year, and his new single, "Run It Up," is a promising preview off his upcoming album, iiiiDrops. The SaveMoney rapper has a couple of hot collaborations out with Mad Decent production duo Two Fresh, including the Vic Mensa-featuring "Still Got It." "Run It Up," produced by Dimeji Faluyi, has a got a similar 808-driven electronic beat, and it features even more authoritative rapping from Purp.
After Purp storms out of the gate with an adrenaline-pumping verse, there's an ornate piano breakdown as he repeatedly sings, "You know how we movin'." Then, right away, it's another thrilling verse from Chicago's next up.
