Jordan Brand has announced that the Air Jordan 31 will officially be unveiled on Wednesday, July 20th, but today we have an early look at what to expect courtesy of Jordan Brand athletes, Jimmy Butler and Carmelo Anthony.
In a Team USA photo posted on the Nike Basketball twitter account, you can clearly see Butler's red, white and block colorway of the Air Jordan 31 which can also be seen, although less clearly, on the feet of Melo.
The first two colorways of the Air Jordan 31 to release will reportedly be of the "Bred" and "Fine Print" variety, but this USA joint should also be dropping in honor of the upcoming Olympic games in Rio.
The kicks definitely draw on inspiration from the Air Jordan 1, as alluded to in the AJ XXXI ad, so we can't wait to see some detailed picks later this week.
In addition to having the AJ 31 on display, Nike also managed to hide the sneakers of non-Nike athletes like Klay Thompson, Kyle Lowry and Harrison Barnes.
