Two new tracks from Kendrick Lamar in one day?! After Flying Lotus unleashed his collabo with the TDE rapper this morning, K. Dot has just hopped on Jeezy's "Holy Ghost," giving us the hip-hop equivalent of lightning striking twice.
With Jeezy's Seen It All: The Autobiography officially dropping today (be sure to read our review), it seems that the CTE boss wants to drum up hype for the project with a bonus cut. Lamar comes through with an Usher-referencing verse that uses the phrase "Let it burn" more effectively than possibly anyone since Mr. Raymond himself.
You think Kendrick's verse is up to snuff for the Snowman's track?
Quotable Lyrics:
I swear the lord is my shepherd, I'm 'bout to go cop a Lexus
I'm 'bout to go fuck Alexis, take this and flood my Rolexes
This black-on-black is a blessing, black-on-black crime on my weapon
I protect mine on my mom and 'ems, these are my Usher confessions
Let it burn...
