JD Era has recently gone independent after previously being signed to Raekown's H20 label, and he's been releasing plenty of free material since the split. The Toronto rapper gave us "DOPE" a couple weeks back, and today he's returned with the propulsive banger, "You Got It".
The midi-key-driven beat is reminiscent of the Boi-1da's instrumental on fellow Canadian Drake's "Headlines" single, with a little more of a strip club flavor, with some clap snares and Mustard-esque "hey" samples giving it a fun-loving vibe.
No word on when we'll get a full length from JD, but the recent bing of material likely means he's got something in the works.
