The multitalented Toronto up-and-comer known as Jazz Cartier has come through with a fresh new banger, "Stick & Move." The single is his first release since his breakout mixtape, Marauding In Paradise, released in August. That project introduced Cartier as a unique prospect out of Toronto, and it's clear his next release, prefaced by "Stick & Move," will be even better.
Cartier brings both attitude and lyricism to the ominous club production, a rare combination when it comes to trap. Whether he's rapping loud and direct or singing in drugged-out auto-tune, there's a raw emotion that translates through all of his lyrics.
Listen to "Stick & Move" and tell us if this is gonna be a hit for Cartier.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm so ahead of myself
Nowadays, I'm declining features, know why?
'Cuz I can do it better myself
I gotta keep it a hunnid, I fuck up a check so the commas gon' run up
2015 was practice, I'm finna take over winter and body the summer
