Jay Z, Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar are weathly, famous humans, and that means they get to sit court side to watch Steph Curry swish three pointers for 40 feet. They did just that last week as the Golden State Warriors visited the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.
The two rappers sat next two each other, chopping it up and laughing the whole time. Kendrick Lamar was joined by his TDE label boss and friend Anthony Tiffith, while Jay was joined by his boo Beyonce.
Both rappers were rocking some notable kicks at the game as well. Jay Z was wearing the Pirate Black Yeezy Boost 350s, which had just re-stocked over the weekend. While the Brooklyn rapper probably didn’t have to wait in any lines to get the kicks, it is one of the few times Jay has been spotted in his friend Kanye’s sneakers since ‘Ye jumped ship to Adidas.
Meanwhile, Kendrick held it down in a pair of all-white Reebok Classic kicks. Kendrick also has a pair of his own Reebok Classics, which sport ‘BLUE’ and ‘RED’ on the left and right shoes respectively. The sneakers attempt to help ease gang relations, one of Kendrick Lamar’s many community-oriented efforts.
