Beyoncé's final show on her formation tour brought out some enviable guests, but the backstage scene was even more star-studded. An impressive group photo following the show revealed Papoose, Remy Ma, and T.I. were among those taking in the concert from sidestage, but a very special moment came when Jay Z, DMX, and Ja Rule reminisced on old times.
For those who don't know, the three rappers once had plans for a supergroup called Murder Inc. While they did have one official release ("Mudergram" off the Streets Is Watching soundtrack), and a few other collaborations, their plans to put out an album never materialized. Later on, Murder Inc. was founded as a label by Irv Gotti and would release albums by Ja Rule, but the supergroup was long forgotten.
Friday night, Hov, X, and Ja, took a minute to take a few photos together, as well as reminiscing about their past collaborations, bringing us right back to their 1999 XXL cover. DJ Khaled has taken credit for the meet-up on Instagram.
Check out some pictures and videos from the reunion below. Is it to late to do at least one more record?
