James Blake invited Vince Staples out at Glastonbury, held in the UK at beginning of the summer, to perform a remix of The Colour in Anything track "Timeless." The "Timeless" remix has no found its way onto the internet a few hours before it's official September 2nd release.
Staples navigates Blake's brooding production style with ease, drawing on natural imagery to touch on such diverse topics as mental health, relationships, and the passing of time.
Blake and Staples' partnership continues to blossom; Blake produce "War Ready" on Staples' new EP Prima Donna. Can't wait to see what else these two have in store.
Quotable Lyrics
How did the blood from out the sand, get in the hour glass?
The world was in my hands, I scorched the land then watch the hours pass
Then picked a couple flowers out the soil just to spoil you
Pricked my fingers on a few, had atleast a dozen grown
