Back in April, the Migos dudes made headlines when they were arrested outside of a concert that took place at Georgia Southern University. Along with themselves, twelve members of their crew went down for having marijuana and firearms.
The arrest actually lead to the postponement of their latest album, Yung Rich Nation. Despite the legal troubles, Migos haven't quieted down on their illegal activity. Yung Rich Nation is packed with the verbalization of illegal activity, from selling coke and weed to committing burglary and even murders.
It's with this in mind that we bring you the nine most incriminating lines on Yung Rich Nation. Remember readers: don't try this stuff at home.
Taken from "Memoirs"
"Remember the time, I did my first breaking in?
Me, myself & I ain't had nobody wit me
Cause I ain't want my uncles know I did it
Remember the time I got kicked out for havin' gas stashed in my locker?
In the gym choppin' it up wit my partners
Next thing you know got walked out by the coppers"
Takeoff's verse sounds like a diary chalk-full of prior crimes. As a minor, he was breaking into houses and keeping weed in his locker, the latter of which got him in some trouble.
Item #2
Taken from "Migos Origin"
"I'm trapping the white, that Ku Klux
My niggas got grenades and bazookas"
Drug-dealing is a big enough crime, but letting everyone know that your buddies have grenades and bazookas might get them into some serious trouble. Not only is Offset risking himself on this one, but his pals as well...
Taken from "Street Nigga Sacrifice"
"Real got the squad, Quavo whip it scientific
Juggin' iPhones, so we made a half a ticket"
Stealing iPhones and selling them is risky business, due to the traceability of the high-tech device. With all the legal trouble Migos has been in, it seems they dodged a bullet on this one.
Taken from "Highway 85"
"So the nigga I don't like made a move to the right
I grabbed the Glock and point it at him on sight
The nigga to the left told me put the gun down
BOW one round, Uh, its going down
I ran out the store, I can't believe I ain't hit
My migos pull up with macs and sticks
Rel hopped out and let 2 shots off
Then I looked around the corner it's Gwinnett County law
I rolled down the window, it's the officer
Put his nose in my car, he say he smell the herb
He opened up the door and asked me can he search?
Hell Naw, officer you know how much I'm worth?
I'm worth a million"
This is a pretty gruesome scene. After an attempted murder, the Migos describe a high-speed chase down Highway '85.
Taken from "Pipe It Up"
"When a nigga start talking shit, gotta pipe up the ammunition"
For the record, the best way to diffuse a situation is probably NOT to pipe up the ammunition.
Taken from "Playa Playa"
"I put a hole in your nigga, he like a bagel
I'm on the molly calling Scotty like I'm Fabo"
One line is about murdering this girl's man, the next is about being on a drug that is suppose to overwhelm the sense with joy and euphoria. It doesn't quite add up, but both are against the law at any rate.
Taken from "Cocaina"
"Out of Venezuela talking cocaina with the plug right now"
First it was the Chinese connect, now they're out in Venezuela. Migos taking the drug trafficking worldwide, and making it all official by putting it on wax.
Taken from "Trap Funk"
"Same keys that you're hearing, same keys I am dealing"
Pretty self-explanatory here. Migos goes on to let you know the kilos of blow are in the back of their car trunks.
Taken from "Recognition"
"I keep the .45 on my waistline
Shoot your block down with the Glock like a alpine
Fuck it shoot the club up call me shine"
While the first line in this quote isn't necessarily a crime, the second two would totally land Takeoff in jail for quite some time (probably for life). It may be best to take a deep breath and leave the weapon on your waistline until it's necessary to use for self defense...Just sayin'.
