Snoop Dogg and Kokane join J Dilla on "Gangsta Boogie," the latest track off "The Diary."

Unfortunately, there was no Views from the 6 edition of OVO Sound Radio tonight, as some had suspected. However, another episode of Dre's exclusive-packed show "The Pharmacy" went live on Beats 1 radio, and the Doc didn't disappoint, as he premiered a new track off J Dilla's upcoming posthumous album The Diary. It's fitting that Dre got the exclusive drop on Dilla's "Gangsta Boogie," as the track features two West Coast vets in Snoop Dogg and Kokane. After the show, Mass Appeal Records dropped off the CDQ stream of "Gangsta Boogie" on its SoundCloud.

The Diary is an archived, unreleased vocal album from Dilla that was mostly recorded in 2002. As was the case on "The Introduction," the first track released off of the forthcoming LP, "Gangsta Boogie" shows off Dilla's rapping skills, which are something special. The production duties are handed to another legend in Hi-Tek, who comes through with a squelching bassline that's perfect for the G-funk stylings of Snoop and Kokane.

The Diary is set for release on April 15. Pre-order the album here and receive an instant download of "Gangsta Boogie."
