Mike Dean recently spent a weekend in the Moog Music Factory (a.k.a. keyboard heaven). "Surrounded by analog synthesizers and immersed in an environment of experimentation," Dean chose two synthesizers and created an extravagant electronic composition called "Grande Faucon." According to his frequent collaborator Travis Scott, the song will be the opening song on his next album.
"This actually The intro Tom My álbum," Scott tweeted in reference to "Grande Faucon." Given the multiple grammatical errors in his tweet and the fact that Dean made the song for Moog, it's possible that La Flame had just heard the song for the first time, possibly while inebriated, and decided he wanted it for his album (which Lyor Cohen has called a "classic").
Listen to "Grande Faucon" and watch Dean create the song below.
