It's no secret that Cash Money and Rick Ross' camp have been at odds over the past few years. The Drake vs Meek Mill beef didn't sit well with Ricky Rozay as he somewhat came to the defense of the Philly rapper. Observers believe he will explore Birdman's weaknesses again in his new album.
“Oh, man, this is my ninth album and quite possibly my magnum opus." Ross told Billboard. "I’ve got a record titled ‘Idols Become Rivals’ and it’s basically me writing a letter to someone in the game that I looked up to damn near the most and I hate what things have come to.”
We can't say for sure what it all means but Renzel's thrown subliminal shots at Cash Money Records before. Ross' ninth album, Rather You Than Me, drops on March 17 and will include features from Future, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Nas and Ty Dolla $ign.
