Everyone's favorite manikin-head-toting OVO signee returns today with the first track from his upcoming EP, Drink More Water 5. "Super Clean" is a pillowy track about making bitches "go dumb."
Delivered in his usual sing-rap freestyle method, Makonnen's lyrics are somewhat nonsensical (aren't they always?), but very entertaining. The instrumental is co-produced by him and Phantom Power, and it sounds like whale song combined with a trip-hop beat. Makonnen's carving out a lane of his own, and "Super Clean" settles in nicely with the rest of his material.
