Stay With Me Tonight

Sonny Digital is the collaborator most associated with Makonnen's breakthrough work, working on many of the biggest records off the iLoveMakonnen EP, including "Club Goin' Up On A Tuesday," "I Don't Sell Molly No More," and "Sarah". Makonnen's new record, and second release of the day, "Stay With Me," is another collab with Sonny, and continues in the tradition of their ballad work from that era. Sonny contributes some glossy synths, likely built off of one of Makonnen's own keyboard compositions, while the singer brings in some delicately romantic vocals, calling out to the woman he's looking to spend the rest of his life with.
