iLoveMakonnen is currently on tour with two of his trustiest collaborators, Key! and the venerable hitmaker Sonny Digital, and while on the road, he's sharing his journey with us via a vlog. After episode one arrived earlier this week, we have the distinct pleasure of premiering number two. Watch it above.
We open with Makonnen talking to a crowd at the RIAA headquarters, where he's awarded gold and platinum plaques for the Grammy-nominated "Tuesday." He speaks about how crazy it's been taking his music from his bedroom to stages across the country, and explains how he's had to learn to be a performer rather than just a singer and composer. The video also takes us onstage, to a hotel pool, and to Makonnen's tour bus.
