Is Iggy Azalea going through some things? The rapper recently pushed back her "Great Escape" tour due to "production delays," shortly after some of her guest artists dropped out. There were rumors at the time that Iggy was being "increasingly unresponsive to her management and refuses to engage in promotion." Since then, Iggy debuted what appeared to be a new face at the Billboard Music Awards, and just yesterday, a petition began circulating to reneg on Iggy's award for Best Rap Song from the BMA's.
Things aren't looking up just yet. Today a statement was released to all ticket holders announcing the cancellation of Iggy's entire tour, and promising that another one is in the works.
Read the statement below.
"The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy‘s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience."
