Last week, we saw A$AP Nast confronting Travis Scott over his similar fashion choices, but the conversation has now continued on with a string of tweets from Ian Connor.
Connor, who has served as A$AP Rocky's creative director, and has recently begun working with Kanye West, has been questioning Scott's influences since last April, when he spoke to Complex about their choice to rank Travis as #1 in a list of "Leaders Of Style". "It was inaccurate," he said. "OK, it’s not “best dressed” and it’s “style leaders,” but you still fucked up. Why is Travi$ [Scott] No. 1? Who influenced Travi$? Who’s the father? Rocky. A$AP Mob. Nast. Ian Connor. Illz. Bari. What’s that shit when all those people signed off on the…thing?"
While Nast deleted his Instagram posts on the subject, Connor has continued to call attention to the similarities in Scott and Rocky's style, tweeting out a few side-by-side images yesterday. Nast made sure to RT his remarks.
This comes after the fashion icon shared a screencap showing that Scott had blocked him on Twitter. So far, Travis has yet to respond to any of the accusations.
