Hit-Boy shows us his hometown in the "Where I'm From" short documentary.

Since breaking out in 2011 with the monstrous "Niggas In Paris" beat, Hit-Boy has become one of the most in-demand beatmakers in the game, and now heads up the HS87 clique to boot. In a new episode of Vitamin Water's "Where I'm From" series, he takes us back to his hometown to detail his come-up.

Returning to the neighborhood he grew up in outside of L.A., Hit-Boy tells us how his uncle was the first one to believe in his abilities, and the uncle in question even makes an appearance to back up the tale.

Bookended by clips of HS87 performing at Made In America festival, this video gives a clear illustration of Hit-Boy's rise to the top.
