Check out three previously unreleased poems from Tupac.

Here's a good way to celebrate Throwback Thursday. Today Noisey has unearthed some previously unreleased handwritten poetry from the legendary Tupac, written before his rise to fame, when he was just 17-years old. The rapper's first manager (who is also a poet herself), Leila Steinberg, is responsible for letting these handwritten gems see the light of day.

The three poems, titled "Things That Make Hearts Break," "Cupid’s Smile II" and "A Love Unspoken," give us some insight into the famed rapper before he shook up the rap game. Check out the poems in the gallery above.

Noisey enlisted Jeff Weiss to write an essay on the importance of Tupac along with these poems, read that in full here.
