Gucci Mane has a reputation as one of the most prolific artists in rap, and since his release from prison earlier this year, he's made sure to live up to it. After releasing WOPTOBER, his second project of the year, last Friday, Gucci has decided to announce yet another album release date.
"Woptober in the streets right now. Coming right back with The Return Of East Atlanta Santa," Gucci wrote on Twitter, announcing the project would be available December 16th.
The project is a sequel to Gucci's East Atlanta Santa tape that dropped while he was still serving his sentence in 2014. The announcement comes in celebration of today's date, 10/17, which has always been a special day for Gucci, whose label is 1017 Brick Squad. In the past, it's been a day when he's dropped new music. In fact, WOPTOBER was scheduled to drop on the 17th, but arrived 3 days early as a surprise for fans.
