It’s been a little while since we last heard from Chicago mystery act Goodbye Tomorrow, but that’s because we’re getting a new EP from the innovated act on June 17 called Tunnel Stripe Exit Ramp. Looking to kick off the campaign today, the self described “retrofuturist guerrilla art collective” return to the scene today with a new single called “Keep That,” featuring fellow Chi-town native Lucki Eck$.
Over a menacing beat from Mr. Music & Save Money's Ugly Eddie (who are two producers on the steady rise), the Chicago rapper looks to dead the situation, while showcasing his strong lyrical wordplay & aggressive delivery in the process. This shit fire fam, especially that chopped & screwed chorus and hook, “These adidas so fly they ask y 3 times.”
Take a listen and let us know what you think. Don’t forget to show you support on iTunes.
Quotable Lyrics:
Get it straight though, never been outta line
These adidas so fly they ask y 3 times
Bitches yellin mannie fresh when they see me i'm big timin
I'm big timin
