While SXSW started off as a showcase opportunity for rising artists all of genres, in recent years we've seen the rap genre take on a bigger influence at SXSW, not to mention, bigger artists as well. So, it may not come as a complete surprise that G.O.O.D. Music is doing their very own showcase at the annual music conference, despite not really having any 'rising rappers' on the label (although it appears they've tapped a few for the showcase...see below).
An image promoting the SXSW showcase began circulating the web today, detailing the date of the showcase and the location, although no specific artists are indicated on the image. Nonetheless, it's being reported by various outlets that Big Sean, Pusha T, CyHi The Prynce, King Louie, Hollywood Holt, Teyana Taylor, Been Trill, and many surprise guests will take the G.O.O.D stage. It's unclear if Hollywood Holt and King Louie are being ushered under the G.O.O.D. umbrella, but undoubtedly we will find out soon enough.
The event takes place on Wednesday, March 12th at Brazos Hall. Will you be attending SXSW in Austin, Texas this year? Let us know in the comments.
