The III Points Festival at Mana Wynwood in Miami isn't until October, but attendees have a lot to look forward too, as announced in a press release today. Ghostface and MF DOOM will team up as DOOMStarks, and perform unheard material.
Not only will they debut new music live at the festival, but their performance will be uniquely interactive. As Pitchfork reports, DOOM will be performing from behind a screen "from the other side of time" (your guess as to what that means is as good as ours). The press releases states that DOOM will be "transported Star Trek-style directly onto the III Points Festival stage," in a "one-of-a-kind, interactive performance."
DOOMStarks is the long-awaited collaborative album between the two albums. Six months ago, during a Reddit AMA, Ghostface stated it would arrive in 2015, so it looks like that could be coming to fruition.
Who will be attending the III Points Festival? Other performers include Aluna George, Run The Jewels, Shlohmo, Sango and more.
