Jordan Brand will be releasing a handful of Air Jordan 6s before the year is over, including a black "UNC" pair, a brand new "Wheat" rendition, and a "Flight Jacket" colorway dedicated to Michael Jordan's first Saturday Night Live appearance.
Additionally, there's that Gatorade inspired pair that has been rumored for months now.
Two different Gatorade pairs have been circulating the internet, one that features a green sueded upper, and another that looks like the beloved "Carmine" 6s with orange in place of the red.
As it turns out, the green pair looks like it's just a sample, and the white/orange pair is the one that'll be releasing.
As a tribute to the iconic "Like Mike" commercial, "If I could be" and "like Mike" text is stitched on the inside of the left and right tongue, respectively. Additionally, the green lace locks and insole feature the Gatorade lightning bolt.
Today we have our best look yet at the kicks which, as mentioned, feature the familiar color blocking used on the Carmines. Rumors has it the "Gatorade" aka "Like Mike" 6s will be arriving sometime in October.
