Gary Clark Jr. is celebrating his debut performance at the Grammys as well as two Grammy nominations (he's up for Best Rock Song with "Ain't Messin Round" and Best Traditional R&B Performance with "Please Come Home") he's releasing a "remixtape" which will contain unreleased tracks and remixes of cuts from his Blak And Blu debut.
The tape is set to feature Robert Glasper, Bilal, Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, and Gary kicks things off with a Big K.R.I.T.-featured remix of the country-bluesy-rock-rap-tune title track.
Quotable Lyrics
"Knockin' on your door again, I heard your 'cross the hall / Decided to provide you with knowledge that might just pause / Decisions to up and go / I know what you're goin' through / No need to be shy about it, ain't none of us brand new / Don't let the world brand you and hand you no ass whoppin'" -Krizzle
