Friend Zone

G-Eazy already hit us with a Vinylz-produced record today, and while it found him in fairly dark sonic territory, he's contrasted it with the bright, "Friend Zone," featuring a sunny hook from Marc E. Bassy and some pop-minded production from Nic Nac. 

As you may or may not know, Nic Nac has been responsible for countless hits over the last year or two, including Chris Brown's "Loyal," "Ayo," and Pia Mia's "Do It Again". This new G-Eazy track could be yet another plaque on the wall, but it probably won't appear on the rapper's album, as he's revealed he'll be releasing a few tracks in advance just to get the hype train started.
