French Montana announced the collab while on the phone with Max B (from prison) & Funk Flex.

Although he remains locked up for charges stemming from 2009 on a 12-count indictment, Max B is still making waves from behind bars.

On Monday night, Max B was able to hop on the phone with Funkmaster Flex & French Montana from prison and acknowledge that he should be getting out sometime soon. When Flex asked him if he was coming home soon, Max replied “Yea man. God is good brotha. Im working on it. Miss y'all out there.”

Unfortunately he didn’t give us any time frame as for when that would be, but while on the phone, Flex & French were talking about the party they were going to throw for Max when he gets out, and that's when French spilled the news on their upcoming collab as well.

“Hold on Flex. Im 'bout to tell you now. Max B, French Montana, The Weeknd, produced by Harry Fraud. Dropping last week of May" he announced. It’s unclear if Max will be out of prison at that time or if they just rolling out the single regardless, but we'll definitely be waiting for it.

As for Max B's release, that's as good as anyone's guess. We've been hearing since September that he was getting out early, but just like everything else with the prison system time will only tell.
