In 2016 Stacey Dash had a weird resurgence, appearing consistently as Fox News’s resident conservative black person. Among other things, she declared that BET and Black History Month should be removed. Now on the eve of Black History Month 2017, the actress and author has apparently been let go from Fox News.
The Hollywood Reporter obtained information from Fox News that Dash hadn’t been on the air since September and was no longer under contract with them. Stacey Dash’s Twitter bio still says she’s a contributor at Fox News as of Monday morning.
Dash didn’t earn too many fans during her tenure at Fox News, and the news of her departure sparked a significant amount delighted tea-spilling among Twitter users.
