On Friday, after reaching new heights of popularity thanks to his Snapchat comeback, DJ Khaled dropped off his new album Major Key. Like with any Khaled album, it was packed with well-coordinated posse cuts, starring everyone from from Jay Z to Nas to Kendrick Lamar to J. Cole. If you haven't heard it yet, you can check it out here.
Now that we're a few days removed from the album's release, sales projections have surfaced via HitsDailyDouble. HDD reports that Khaled is on pace to sell 67,000 - 72,000 copies opening week, or 45,000 - 50,000 in pure sales. This is most definitely a step up from his last album, I Changed A Lot, which only sold 25,000 units in its first week, making a debut at #12. Obviously all that Snapping has helped.
