The Weeknd had an ideal ramp up in advance of Beauty Behind the Madness, putting out some monster records in "Earned It," "The Hills," & "Can't Feel My Face" (plus appearing on Ariana Grande's megahit "Love Me Harder") that elevated the public profile of the album and promised to give its sales a hefty boost. Early projections now have BBTM headed for a first week with 250,000 sales, according to HDD. The next best-selling album, Halsey's Badlands, is projected to do 84k.
By comparison, The Weeknd's 2013 debut album Kiss Land garnered 95,000 in first week sales. Abel is moving up!
