The numbers are in for Kid Cudi's big release since leaving G.O.O.D. Music, INDICUD. The album was released through Cudder's own label, Wicked Awesome, and did pretty good sales-wise, however, not quite as good as his last solo album, Man On The Moon II.
The album was projected to move 140-155k in opening week, and the result was on the lower end of that spectrum. INDICUD sold 139,000 copies in its first week on shelves, debuting at #2 on the charts. In comparison, MOTM2 moved 169,000 copies (and it was a G.O.O.D. Music release).
Do you think Cudi's departure from Kanye's label had any affect on sales?
