In the wake of Alton Sterling & Philando Castile, Fashawn decides to express his feelings about the injustices in America & police brutality by dropping off a new socially-conscious record today titled “Mother Amerikkka.”
Produced by Hecktik and Jukebawks, the track explains Fashawn’s deeply rooted conflict with a country that gave him so much, but yet also repeatedly mistreats its black citizen’s over & over again. Look for the powerful new record to presumably see life on his upcoming Manna EP, which will be dropping this Fall & be followed by his long awaited Millenia album.
Hit play and let us know what you think of Fashawn’s powerful new record.
Quotable Lyrics:
Temptation of enemy how does one man avoid it
Took away his profits handed him the poison
Gave him Ten Commandments and a pamphlet to follow
This world’s like a xanny too massive to swallow
Regurgitated what I consumed
At times I wish I could’ve stayed in the the womb
