Rap entrepreneur and consummate artist Tech N9ne says he's working on a new album. And he wants Eminem on it.
The OG rapper already has the new compilation Dominion scheduled to drop on Friday. Yet, in an radio interview on Go 95.3, Tech N9ne said he is already working on another solo album, Planet, and hopes Marshall Mathers will be on it. He recalled how he and his associate Krizz Kaliko sent him "Speedom," off Special Effects, to collaborate on in 2015.
"We sent him our best -- me and Kali's best -- so he can do his best," he said. "And what he did was astronomical. And that made me feel good."
However, when Tech played it for rapper Mac Lethal, the former Rhymesayers artist didn't sound as pleased.
"'Man, why you let Em do you like that,'" Tech said Mac told him. "I'm like, 'What do you mean? I pushed him to do that.'"
Tech said Em put up 28 bars on "Speedom." Let's hope the new track -- if they do collaborate -- is as memorable as Big Sean's "No Favors." The Kansas City native added that he hopes to also recruit the services of legendary singer Billy Joel. Peep the interview below.
