For this week's TBT, Tim Westwood shares an unreleased freestyle session from 2004 involving the talents of Eminem, Proof, Swifty McVay, and Stat Quo.

The TBT concept may have become awfully stale on the Facebook and Instagram feeds, though in the hip-hop world, Throwback Thursdays have been the impetus for some exciting unreleased music from eras that deserve to be memorialized in the midst of today's transient climate.

Veteran producer StreetRunner has been steadily supplying remastered versions of unreleased Weezy tracks from the late '00s -- today's offering being "Do It Again" -- and another reliable force has been British DJ Tim Westwood, who comes through today with an unreleased freestyle session -- recorded in 2004 -- between Eminem, the late D12 emcee Proof, current D12 member Swifty McVay, and Stat Quo, who was once signed to both Shady and Aftermath.

Em had (and still has) a special relationship with Westwood, and he was known to drop off his best off-the-top bars each time he and his team came through London. Those who like what Eminem and D12 were spitting in '04 should take it back five years and check out Westwood's release of a 1999 session involving just Em and Proof, which was shared as a TBT exclusive earlier this year.

Quotable Lyrics

And my name ain't Fred
And my name ain't special Ed
And it ain't my birthday
But Proof can get on the mic in the worst way
And I don't even have to curse to say
