More streams for "More Life."

We already know Drake will have the biggest debut week in 2017, and also/or rather, since his own album dropped last year, with the release of More Life. While we anticipate what his final first week sales will look like, we're getting a look at the amount of streams he's racked up already-- and this is just on one platform. More Life's roll out had the "playlist" going live on all streaming services immediately following its premeire on OVO Sound Radio, this past Saturday evening.

Drizzy has already managed to break a Spotify record (or two). More Life was streamed 61.3 million times in the first day of its release, beating out previous record holder for first-day album streams, Ed Sheeran (Divide recently did 56.7 million).

In addition, the rapper breaks the record for most overall streams in one day by an artist -- Drake's overall streams on Spotify soared to 76.4 million total with the release on More Life, another record Sheeran previously held with 68.7 million.

A few days prior to More Life's anticipated release, Spotify revealed that Drake had surpassed the 10 billion stream mark on their platform-- accounted for, largely, by the many streams VIEWS and its accompanying singles like "One Dance" racked up upon its release. It's only a matter of time until he hits another landmark, 20 billion, especially with all the streams accumulating from More Life.
