Earlier this month, Drake had to postpone his shows for the Boy Meets World tour because of "unforeseen production setbacks." Wednesday, MOJO Concerts have announced that his Amsterdam fans will have to pine a little longer because Drizzy's concerts have been delayed for a second time. Seems like Drizzy wants to create shows catered specifically for European crowds.
On their Facebook page, MOJO Concerts says, “Earlier we informed Drake fans on the rescheduling of his Ziggo Dome concerts. We are very sorry to inform you again that the Drake concerts on January 26 (original date January 20) and January 27 (original date January 21) in the Ziggo Dome have been moved to new dates. Drake wants to bring a complete new show to Europe and not a copy of the shows in the US.”
The message went on to indicate that, “Unfortunately due to unforeseen production setbacks it will need a little bit more time to be ready. The international and local crew have been working on this production since January 17 in the Ziggo Dome and Drake was all set and has started his rehearsals this week."
"The concerts on January 28 (original date January 22) and February 26 (original date January 18) will happen as scheduled."
Drake's Summer Sixteen tour in 2016 was the highest grossing hip hop tour of all time. Young Thug is rumored to be set to join his European tour. Drake was last seen dining with a French porn star and making a surprise appearance at Rae Sremmurd's show in Amsterdam.
