For many, Anderson .Paak's consistent presence on Dr. Dre's comeback album, Compton, was an introduction to the multi-talented songwriter, so it's no surprise that .Paak has decided to sign with Dre's Aftermath imprint.
Dre and Anderson delivered the news through a video on .Paak's Twitter today. "What's up to the new Aftermath representative," said Dre as he shook hands with the excited singer. "Anderson .Paak, baby". Anderson captioned the clip as "Aftermath gets the last laugh".
.Paak's most recent project, Malibu, has earned rave reviews from critics, so we can only imagine what he'll be capable of with major label backing.
