DMX and Swizz Beatz are back together.

DMX hasn't been having the best year, but recently took part in a Dr. Phil interview which gave us a little more insight into his story. The rapper seems to be coming into a better place, and a new photo on Swizz Beatz' Instagram has further assured us that we'll be hearing some new music from X in the near future.

The photo depicts Swizz and X, the duo responsible for classic bangers such as "Ruff Ryders Anthem" and "Party Up," in matching DMX hats, coupled with the caption "It's time for this to happen again !!! Got dammit what do you think?". It's safe to assume that this means the two Ruff Ryders are headed back into the studio together.

Check out the photo below.

While Swizz Beatz was pretty heavy-handed in his hint that he and DMX were back in the lab together, we now have official confirmation.

X's publicist has released a statement revealing that not only is the rapper working on a new album, but Swizz will produce multiple tracks. "Swizz and X are always working on a song," read the statement. "Swizz is producing several tracks on X's album that he's working on."

No news on when to expect the project, but judging by the duo's past work, it should be something to get excited about.
