Men lie, women die, but numbers don’t right? Well, that’s the case for DJ Khaled’s latest hit single with Drake “For Free,” which just went platinum this afternoon by the RIAA.
Khaled took to his Twitter to share the news with his 2.9 followers, simply tweeting a photo of the single’s cover art & the stamped “platinum” logo on it. This isn’t Khaled’s first rodeo mind you either, the We The Best hitmaker has had singles like "I'm So Hood," "I'm On One," "All I Do Is Win," "We Takin Over," and "I Wish You Would” all reaching platinum status.
Don’t be surprised if “For Free” isn’t the only record to go platinum off Major Key, with “I Got The Keys” & “Nas Album Done” both picking up momentum on the charts & airwaves right now.
